Miley Cyrus is no stranger to stripping off her clothes, and the controversial singer recently bared her breasts in support of "Free The Nipple" campaign.
Cyrus took to Instagram to post a racy photo of herself, where she can be seen lying bare breasted on a bed. While she might be supporting a campaign, the black and white shot was soon taken down from the photo-sharing site.
The songstress had captioned the photo as "Some lame a** deff gonna (flag) dat (s***) but f********k it #practicewhatchupreach #FreeTheNipple #freedats***," according to Huffington Post.
However, the 22-year-old was reportedly not affected by the deletion of her picture from Instagram. She went ahead and posted photoshopped pictures of her face on the naked bodies of dolls. This time she made sure to blur the nipples.
"Free The Nipple" campaign has a number of supporters including Brit models Cara Delevingne and Suki Waterhouse. Bruce Willis' daughter Rumer Willis has also gone nude on many occasions to support the campaign. One of her most controversial stunts was when she stepped out bare breast while shopping in New York.
"I understand that people don't want to take me seriously. Or would rather just write me off as an attention-seeking, over-privileged, ignorant, white girl. I am white and I was born to a high profile and financially privileged family. I didn't choose my public life, but it did give me this platform. A platform that helps make body politics newsworthy. I am not trying to argue for mandatory toplessness, or even bralessness. What I am arguing for is a woman's right to choose how she represents her body," Willis said in support of the campaign, according to Daily Star.
The campaign has been initiated against strict social media guidelines, which forbids users from exposing their breasts in pictures. It aims to legalise the topless pictures of women as men are reportedly allowed to post topless pictures.
