Hollywood couple Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth are again hit by split rumors. A new report from Radar Online has revealed that the former Disney star and the Australian hunk are on the rocks.
According to the website, their romance is hanging by the thread. A source said, "The fact they're admitting their engagement is in limbo is proof they're not in a good place at all."
"Just six months ago they were making wedding arrangements and couldn't stop flaunting their love to the world. Now they're barely speaking," the insider added.
In July, fans of the celebrity couple were shocked after reports emerged that they have ended their engagement. The break-up news spread after Cyrus deleted all of her Instagram photos.21
"She's deleted all her posts about Liam and it's more of a friendship while they figure things out," the source added. "They're buying time, basically, while Liam lays down the law about her partying and sees if she can calm down. It's not looking good, whatever they say."
The couple was together for a couple of years before they called off their engagement in 2013. They started spending time together in 2016 and confirmed the status of their relationship a couple of months later. In May 2017, Cyrus told Billboard that it was essential for her and Hemsworth to fall for each other again.
According to Cyrus, she felt she needed to have a change in her life and wanted to be fair to Hemsworth. She said, "I needed to change so much. And changing with someone else not changing like that is too hard. Suddenly you're like, 'I don't recognise you anymore.' We had to refall for each other."
Hemsworth seconded Cyrus' statements during an interview with GQ Australia. He said, "At the time we were going in different directions and it's just what needed to happen. We were both super young and it was a good decision at the time – we both needed that."
