American pop singer Miley Cyrus is reportedly upset with Lil Xan for breaking her younger sister, Noah Cyrus' heart. The former couple, who have reportedly been dating for around a month, both seemed to accuse the other of cheating.
Things got messier when Lil Xan claimed that the whole relationship was a setup by Columbia Records, which both artists are signed to. A source told Hollywood Life, "Miley is furious with Lil Xan, the way he's treated Noah has been unforgivable. It breaks Miley's heart to see Noah cry. Miley had her worries when Noah started dating Lil Xan and he's pretty much proven every single one of her fears right."
"Lil Xan cheated on Noah and then when she busted him, he tried to turn it around on her and make her the bad guy," the insider added. "It's just sickening the way he's tried to manipulate Noah and mess with her mind. And he hasn't just betrayed Noah either, he's betrayed the whole family. They all welcomed him with open arms and gave him every benefit and now he's turned around and and treated Noah like garbage."
"Miley would love to get him alone and confront him for the way he's hurt her little sister but it's just not worth it. She knows that's only going to give him more crap to talk about on social media. Miley's decided the best thing to do is to help Noah heal and remind her that she's better off without someone that would treat her this badly," the source shared.
Noah and Lil Xan's messy break-up
In a now-deleted Instagram post, the 18-year-old singer shared a text exchange between her and the 22-year-old rapper. She stated that a Charlie Puth porn meme was the reason for the split. She told her fans, "I'm heartbroken and confused. This is the meme I sent Diego that made him think I'm cheating on him."
However, Lil Xan shared some allegations of his own. In another deleted video, he said, "If y'all think that meme is the reason I broke up with Noah, that is hilarious."
Lil Xan, whose real name is Diego Leanos, claimed that their relationship was a set up by the record label. He said: "It was something set up by, uh, Columbia Records... Columbia, uh, set it up to boost, uh, her like... y'know... like, everybody sh*t poppin'. Shout out to Columbia Records, too, for setting up that fake relationship. I didn't want to do it, to be completely honest. ... It was just added work to my schedule, you know what I mean?"
However, Noah immediately denied this. She said, "This relationship was not set up by Columbia Records. To say that is a joke. It started when I got a DM from Diego and he asked me to hang out."
