Middle Class Abbayi aka MCA movie review and rating: Old win in a new bottle

Director Venu Sri Ram's Telugu movie MCA aka Middle Class Abbayi starring Nani and Sai Pallavi has received mixed reviews and ratings from the audience.

MCA aka Middle Class Abbayi is a family drama with a good dose of romance, comedy and action. Venu Sri Ram has written the story and dialogues for the movie, that was produced by Dil Raju under his banner Sri Venkateswara Creations. The film has got a U/A certificate from the censor board and its runtime is 2 hour 24 minutes.

Middle Class Abbayi story: Nani and Rajeev Kanakala are brothers, but Nani gets sidelined after his brother marries Bhumika, whose authority makes him uncomfortable and leads to conflict. The twist in the tale is that he is forced to shift to Warangal after Bhumika gets transferred there as RTO. Bhumika lands in trouble with transport mafia Shiva (Vijay), who operates illegal bus fleet. What happens next forms the crux of the story.

Performance: Nani has delivered good performance and his comedy timing will impress you. Sai Pallavi and Bhumika Chawla have good scope for acting and they did a good job. The love-hate relationship between Nani and Bhumika is the highlight of the film. Naresh, Aamani, Rajeev Kanakala and Priyadarshi Pullikonda have also done justice to their roles, say the viewers.

Technical: Middle Class Abbayi has good production values. Devi Sri Prasad's songs and background score, picturisation and choreography of action and dance are the attractions on the technical front, say the viewers.
