It is raining discounts everywhere and Microsoft has jumped into the arena to offer some of its own deals. After hosting a successful 24-hour Sunset Overdrive trial for Xbox Live Gold members, the software giant is offering a 15 percent discount on the purchase of the title's digital copy via Xbox Games Store. While the first 24 hour preview of the shooter game was exclusive for Gold members, the 15 percent discount on the game is available to all.
The discount and the free game-play come as a way to commemorate Xbox One's first year anniversary, which was celebrated on Saturday. The offer is applicable for both Day One Edition & Deluxe editions of Sunset Overdrive. With 15 percent off on the title, the Day One Edition is selling for $59.99 and the Day One Deluxe Edition for $64.99.
Microsoft's discount on Sunset Overdrive is not a lasting one, as Xbox's Major Nelson aka Larry Hub revealed the offer ends on Monday midnight, Nov. 24 (Pacific Time).

Microsoft's limited-time offer may end as soon as on Monday, but shoppers have a lot to look forward this week. The popular deal-mania Black Friday is fast approaching this week and has some great offers on titles, consoles and a wide range of electronics. Microsoft is also participating in the traditional Black Friday sale, with a $50 price cut on its next-gen console Xbox One Assassin Creed Unity Bundle, which will sell at $349.
If you wish to bag the Kinect sensor, Microsoft is offering the bundle along with a free game from the popular Assassin's Creed series for $449.
