Concept images of forthcoming devices always portray the best that could be expected of a product. As Microsoft prepares to launch its next flagship – the Lumia 940 – later this year, designer Jonas Daehnert has shared some fascinating designs of the unannounced handset.
If the Lumia 940 indeed reflects the concept images, there is a good chance smartphone shoppers will vie for the handset when it is launched.
Daehnert shared the images in high-definition on Behance as well as on Twitter for the world to see. Beautifully crafted in gray and black colour points, the concept designs of the Lumia 940 bring out the smallest details as they are based on actual leaks.
As for the features of the Lumia 940, there have been several rumours.
According to Phone Arena, the handset will sport a 5.2-inch Super AMOLED Full HD display and powered by a hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor, 3GB RAM and Windows 10.
The camera is likely to be one of the biggest USPs of the unannounced Lumia handset, which is said to come with a 25-megapixel PureView rear camera with triple-tone LED flash and a 5MP front snapper. Inside the handset is a powerful 3,250mAh battery to run for long hours.
Microsoft hasn't confirmed the Lumia 940 or its release, but the handset is widely expected in September. Until then, you can enjoy the concept images of the Lumia 940 shared by Phone Designer on Twitter.
