Microsoft has finally launched its Lumia 650 Dual SIM (4G) in India more than a month after it was released in a few countries. The device runs Windows 10 Mobile operating system and comes with a price tag of Rs. 15,299.
The Lumia 650 Dual SIM was announced Feb. 15 before releasing to select European markets a few days later. The device was then launched in the United States and Canada earlier this month at $199.
"We crafted the Lumia 650 with the finest detail while delivering a consistent and familiar Windows 10 experience. Lumia 650 brings the best of Microsoft productivity, beautiful design and an affordable price," Ajey Mehta, country general manager at Microsoft, said in a statement.
The latest offering from Microsoft is available in matte black and white colours, has an aluminium-based metal frame and measures 6.9mm in thickness, making it the company's thinnest phone ever. It runs Windows 10 Mobile, sports a 5-inch HD AMOLED display with 1,280x720 pixels (297 ppi pixel density).
Under the hood, the Lumia 650 has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 212 processor clocking at 1.3GHz, an Adreno 304 GPU, a 16GB internal memory (expandable up to 200GB via microSD card), a 1GB RAM, an 8MP main camera with LED flash, f/2.2 aperture and 28 mm lens, a 5MP wide-angle front-snapper with f/2.2 aperture, and a 2,000mAh battery.
The device also supports 4G-LTE, micro-USB v2.0, Bluetooth v4.1, Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n/), NFC, 3.5 mm audio jack, A-GLONASS/A-GPS and FM radio.
