As reported last week, Microsoft on Monday (16 February) launched a new budget smartphone Lumia 532 in India.
The new Lumia 532 was originally unveiled along with Lumia 435 in January. The latter was released a just week ago in India for ₹5,999.
Now its higher model has set foot in India for ₹6,499, reported NDTV Gadgets.
Only difference between the two Lumia 532 and 435 are processor and camera specifications. The former packs a Snapdragon 200 series quad-core SoC (System on Chip) and 5.0-megapixel main camera, whereas the latter houses a dual-core chipset and a less superior 2.0-megapixel snapper on the rear-side.
Lumia 532 features 4.0-inch WVGA LCD screen and runs on the latest Windows 8.1 (with Lumia Denim update), 1GB RAM, 8GB inbuilt memory and a 1560 mAh battery, which can keep the phone running for close to 22 days under standby mode.
Other value-added features include intuitive digital voice-assistant Cortana, free Office apps, which include Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneNote. These apps with the help of OneDrive cloud storage support make project work documents available at any Windows operable devices, making it seamlessly accessible anywhere.
