Microsoft launched their internet-capable feature phone Nokia 215 back in January. Launched at $29, Microsoft announced to launch this low-budget feature phone to the budget-conscious phone markets including Asia, Middle East and Africa.
Microsoft announced the dual SIM edition of the same feature phone for Indian market at ₹2,149 on Wednesday.
Talking about the specifications, the Nokia 215 feature phone supports 2G only network and boasts a 2.4-inch QVGA LCD colour display with 320x240 pixel resolution. The 215 also features essentials like 0.3mp camera, MP3 Player, FM Radio and a built-in Torch. It also supports Bluetooth connectivity and can send/receive files with other phones or connect with Bluetooth Speaker, quite surprising in its price.
More importantly the Nokia 215 claims a battery life of 20 hours of talk-time and 29 days of stand-by time.
Unlike other inexpensive feature phones, Nokia 215 can run essential Internet services including Facebook, Messenger, Twitter, Bing Search, MSN Weather and Opera Mini.
