Microsoft has launched a new website where people can find out how old they look in any photo. Aptly named, How-Old.net, lets you upload an image file less than 3MB that is then put through face-recognition technology and age-guessing algorithm to give you interesting results. Developed in just a day, How-Old.net is a brainchild of a few developers, which was put through some tweaks after real-time analysis.
Microsoft's website bears a warning that reads #HowOldRobot is still being improved and does not guarantee complete accuracy. But the results have been fairly reasonable and sometimes hilarious. The new Microsoft feature has gone viral since its launch and hundreds and thousands of users uploaded photos to the site to find their age and gender according to #HowOldRobot. You can also upload your images to the site and find out what Microsoft thinks of your age and gender. Users can also take advantage of the integrated Bing search bar to find famous personalities' age and gender.
There is also a live hashtag on Twitter, #HowOldRobot, where you can share your images. Microsoft's new tool has also started some humour on the social media site, with some examples listed below.
