Microsoft has announced holiday bundles for Xbox 360 in U.S and the newly announced offer will be starting from Oct 13, 2013 all the way till Jan 4, 2014. The company also announced through a post that Xbox 360 Holiday Value Bundles will be "soon" available in retail stores.
Apart from the holiday bundles that were announced, Major Nelson also said that there will be a Holiday 2013 price promotion where all consumers will be offered $50 off on every bundle between the above mentioned dates.
There were three holiday bundles that were announced, two of which include Kinect and one without the Kinect sensors. The three bundles are:
250GB:
The Xbox 360 250GB Holiday Value Bundle is inclusive of two great games like Halo 4 and Tomb Raider. Microsoft will also be offering a month of Xbox Live Gold for a limited time this Holiday. It's priced at $299.99.
250GB Kinect:
The Xbox 360 250GB Kinect Holiday Value Bundle includes Kinect Sports: Season Two, Kinect Adventures and Forza Horizon. It also includes one month of Xbox Live Gold. It's priced at $399.99.
4GB Kinect:
The Xbox 360 4GB Kinect Holiday Value Bundle will feature two Kinect-based games like Kinect Sports: Season Two and Kinect Adventures. It also includes one month of Xbox Live Gold and is priced at $299.99.
Microsoft had earlier said that it will not be dumping Xbox 360 consoles and plans to continue supporting it for three more years even after the arrival of its next-generation console Xbox One. It had said that it plans to ship more than a 100 games on Xbox 360.
Xbox One will be released on Nov 22 and will be costing $499.
