Micromax YU's #YUNameIt contest has reached the final phase and now the company has asked the public to pick the name of new phone aka Project Caesar.
The company's promotional campaign #YUNameIt went live on 31 March and ended this weekend on Saturday (4 April). Users were advised to submit their entries with the #YUNameIt- hashtag on the company's official social networking sites Twitter and Facebook or on the dedicated contest page, before 2 April.
Then, later on 4 April, the company (via Twitter) finally published the top 5 entries among the thousands and asked fans to pick the name for its upcoming smartphone aka Project Caesar which is slated for release later this month.
The top 5 entries picked by Micromax YU include:
- Yuknight
- Yunicorn
- Yuphoria
- Yunity
- Youth
The company has announced that the few lucky participants, who vote for the shortlisted entries, stand a chance to win the new YU device and also Amazon gift cards worth ₹1 lakh. That's not all; YU also announced the company will release a separate list of people who will win Amazon gift cards worth ₹2000 daily until the end of the voting contest

Expected Features of Micromax YU new smartphone (Project Caesar):
As per our previous reports, Project Caesar is expected to be priced under ₹7,000 and is poised to take on the Chinese rival Xiaomi Redmi 2.

YU's next smartphone Project Caesar is said to be shipped with 2GB RAM, 64-bit class SoC (System on Chip), Cyanogen 12 (Android 5.0 Lollipop) OS and 16GB inbuilt memory.
