Micromax's sub-brand YU Televentures launched new smartphone Yureka S in India. It is the fourth Yureka series model to hit stores. The original variant was released way back in December 2014 and since then, Yu has unveiled Yureka Plus (2015) and Yureka Note (2016).
The new Yureka S is the smallest among all the previous phones and its design language is similar to the flagship smartphone Yutopia. It sports a 5.2-inch full HD display and flaunts a big Saturn ring-inspired camera module with LED flash on the back.
Under the hood, it comes packed with Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 octa-core CPU, 3GB RAM, 16GB inbuilt storage, 13MP camera with LED flash, 5MP front snapper with wide-angle lens and a 3,000mAh battery, which is sufficient enough to keep the phone running for a whole day.
Yu Yureka S price and availability:
The company has listed the Yureka S on its official website for Rs.12, 999. But the release details are under wraps.
Competition:
Yu Yureka S will be up against the popular Xiaomi Redmi Note 3, LeEco Le 2, Moto G4 series, recently released Lenovo K5 Note, among others.
