Micromax's subsidiary YU Televentures is all set to kick-off the new round of Yureka flash sale later today (Thursday).

The company's e-commerce partner Amazon India will host the tenth edition of the YU Yureka flash sale on Thursday at 2:00pm; up to 25,000 smartphone units are up for grabs.

Prospective consumers have to register to become eligible to buy the YU Yureka. If a user has already got registered for previous flash sale, he need not re-apply; he will be automatically put on the waiting-list. Buyers can directly try ordering the phone on 19 March.

Earlier this month, Micromax, via cryptic Dot-to-Dot picture puzzle, hinted that YU Yureka will get the new Cyanogen 12 OS (Android 5.0 Lollipop) later this month. Going by the cryptic message, the flagship phone is most likely receive the update on 26 March.

Micromax YU Yureka sports a 5.5-inch HD display and run on the Cyanogen CM12S (based on Android 4.4.4 KitKat) OS powered by the Snapdragon 615 Octa-core processor with 2GB RAM and 16GB inbuilt memory and 2500 mAh battery which can run the phone for close to 210 hours under standby mode.
