It's Thursday and it is another busy day for Amazon and Micromax. The Yu Yureka smartphone is all set to go on sale today at 2PM, continuing the tradition of weekly flash sales. This is going to be the eighth flash sale for the powerful low-priced handset and people are already lining up in virtual queues to grab the phone. But adding the phone to cart successfully has proven to be a hard task and those who previously attempted to do so are well aware of it.
Micromax is once again hosting the Yureka sale via Amazon India and has 30,000 units up for grab. If you are lucky, you will have the handset booked for delivery by the end of the sale. Note that the sale lasts no more than a few seconds and the tradition is likely to continue this week. To overcome this challenge, we have rounded up a few tips on how to increase your chances of adding the Yu Yureka smartphone to your cart and what to do if you missed the small purchase window.
How to add Yureka to your shopping cart:
- Log in to Amazon.in
- Go to Yu Yureka sale page few minutes prior to the sale. The sale begins at 2PM IST.
- Refresh the product sale page constantly when the reverse countdown begins.
- Refresh the webpage more frequently when the countdown has less than a minute left for the sale.
- Soon after the countdown ends, an "add to cart" button will appear.
- Click on the button as quickly as you can.
- If you miss to do so, the "add to cart" button will be replaced by "Join Waitlist" button.
- Join Amazon's waitlist to get notified when someone who booked the phone fails to complete the checkout within 15 minutes.
- If you successfully added Yureka to your cart, checkout within 15 minutes by completing the purchase.
Purchase tips:
- Delete cookies, history, cache on the browser before the sale.
- Pause all downloads (on browser and torrent) to get a reliable connection.
- Make sure your system time is in sync with time.nist.gov.
- Login to Amazon.in from your PC as the Waitlist option will not appear on mobile.
- Use a fast and reliable internet connection.
- Use a fast browser (Firefox / Google Chrome recommended).
- Only one device is permitted per customer.
