Popular indigenous smartphone-maker Micromax has released their budget handset Bolt A58 in India via online stores.
Bolt A58 sports a 3.5-inch TFT LCD screen with 320x480p resolution and runs on the Android v 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS out-of-the-box.
Inside, the budget phone packs 1GHz MediaTek processor, 512MB RAM, 512MB in-built memory (expandable up to 32GB), 1200 mAh battery and 2.0-megapixel camera which can record 320x480p resolution video. On connectivity front, it features Dual-SIM slots, 3G network support, Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n) and Bluetooth v2.0.
Micromax Bolt A58 is available at online store Saholic for ₹5,499 and will be competing against Karbonn Smart A26, Samsung Galaxy Young (S6312), Nokia Asha budget series smartphones, as well as the company's own siblings Bolt A40 and Ninja 3 A57.
In related news, Micromax is reportedly working on a new flagship device Canvas Turbo A250. It is touted as the company's first ever full HD (1920x1080p) smartphone and is expected to feature MediaTek based 1.5GHz quad-core processor with 357MHz GPU, 1GB RAM, 13.0-megapixel main camera and 5.0-megapixel front-facing camera.
