Home-bred smartphone maker Micromax has launched a new handset, dubbed as Canvas Lens Q345, in India.
As the name suggests, Canvas Lens Q345 is pro-camera smartphone. It boasts of an 8.0-megapixel Sony camera sensor with Largan lens and LED flash on the rear-side and on the front it houses a feature-rich 5mp snapper with Largan lens and OV (OmniVision) sensor.
To further enhance the photography experience, the company is offering clip-on lens with 0.4X zoom to enable users to take wide-angle photographs during a group selfie. The new phone also comes with dedicated photo editing tools to improve facial beauty like eye enlargement, remove blemishes on the skin and other options.
Other stipulated features include 5.0-inch HD display, Android 5.0 Lollipop, 1GB RAM, 8GB inbuilt storage and a 2800 mAh battery which can run the phone for close to 374 hours in standby mode.
With the announcement, Canvas Lens becomes the second pro-selfie camera phone from Micromax after Canvas Selfie which got released in March this year.

Micromax Selfie Lens has been made available on both online and brick-and-mortar stores across India for ₹8,299.
Competition:
Micromax Canvas Lens will be up against Lenovo A6000 Plus, Motorola Moto E (4G), Coolpad Dazen 1, Redmi 2, recently launched Xolo Cube 5.0 and it will also be competing with its own sister brand YU Yuphoria.
