Micromax's new budget tablet, Funbook Talk P360, made its unofficial entry into the Indian market with a price tag ranging from ₹7,049 to ₹7,599.
The tablet which is yet to be announced in the country has already been listed on various online retailers as available. E-commerce websites like Snapdeal and Saholic listed the tablet for ₹7049, while Flipkart mentioned the price as ₹7599. The Funbook Talk P360 is reportedly out of stock at Flipkart. The appearance of the tablet on the website indicates that the company will officially roll out the tablet in the coming days.
Regarding the specifications, Micromax's new tablet sports a 7-inch capacitive touch screen with 800x480 pixel resolution and is powered by a 1.2 GHz Cortex-A9 single core processor. The tablet runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system and houses a memory of 1GB RAM along with 1.65GB internal storage which is expandable up to 32GB.
On the connectivity front, the tablet supports WIFI and Bluetooth. Micromax Funbook Talk P360 packs a 3000 mAh battery which claims to provide standby time of 180 hours on a single charge. It comes equipped with a 2-megapixel rear camera and a 0.3-megapixel front facing camera and supports 2G voice calling. Micromax's latest offering comes with preloaded education apps and also gives access to the company's own apps.
With the announcement of new tablet, Micromax is reportedly looking to steal the show from Google Nexus 7 which was launched in India a few weeks ago.
