Popular indigenous smartphone maker, Micromax has released a voice-calling tablet PC Funbook Mini P410 in India via online stores.
Micromax Funbook Mini P410 sports 7.0-inch LCD screen with 1024x600p resolutions and runs on the Android v4.1 Jelly Bean OS powered by a 1GHz dual-core processor with 1GB RAM and 4GB inbuilt memory ( expandable up to 32GB).
The budget voice-calling tablet boasts 2.0-megapixel camera on the rear-side and 0.3-megapixel (VGA) camera in the front. Connectivity wise, it features dual-SIM slots (3G & 2G), Wi-Fi (802. 11 b/g/n) and Bluetooth v4.0.
As of now, Micromax Funbook Mini P410 is available with online retailer Infibeam for ₹8,820, whereas Flipkart too has listed the new tablet, but it is yet to begin the sales.
The new budget tablet will be competing against the local counter-parts like Swipe MTV Volt, Lava E-Tab XRON+, iBall Slide 3G 9728, as well as MNC rivals such as Lenovo Idea Tab A1000 and feature-rich quad-core based Asus-Google Nexus 7 (2012 model), which recently scored itself a major price-cut.
A couple of weeks ago, Micromax had also released its first ever Canvas series tablet Canvas Tab P650 for 16,500. It flaunts 8.0-inch IPS multi-touch screen with 1024x768p resolutions. Other specifications include Android v4.2.1 Jelly Bean OS,1.2GHz MediaTek quad-core processor, 1GB DDR3 Ram, 16GB eMMC ROM (expandable up to 32GB), 4800 mAh battery, 5.0-megapixel main camera and 2.0-megapixel snapper in the front.
