Home-bred consumer electronics major Micromax has launched a new budget 3G voice-calling slate dubbed as Canvas Tab P470 in India.
The new Micromax Canvas Tab P470 sports 7.0-inch TFT display and ships with Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS, 1.3GHz dual-core SoC (System on Chip), 1GB RAM, 8GB inbuilt memory, 5mp camera, a 0.3mp (VGA) snapper on the front and a 3,200mAh battery, which can run the device for up to 11 hours of talk-time and close to 158 hours under standby mode.

The new Canvas Tab P470 has been made available in Mystic Grey and Classic Silver colour options for ₹6,999 starting this week across India.

Micromax's new budget slate will be up against popular Asus (maker of Google-Nexus 7 series) Fonepad 7 2014 (FE170CG series), HCL ME Y2 Tablet, ME Connect 3G, iBall 3G17 Tablet, Lava E-Tab iVORY and many other domestic brands available online.
