Home-bred smartphone maker Micromax launched a new budget handset, dubbed as the Canvas Spark 2 Plus, in India on April 21.
The highlight of the Canvas Spark 2 Plus is that it runs Marshmallow operating system and costs just Rs. 3,999, making it the cheapest smartphone in the Indian market to feature Android's latest OS.
On the hardware front, it comes with 5.0-inch FWVGA screen, 1.3GHz quad-core CPU, 5MP camera on the back, a 2MP front snapper and a 2000mAh battery, which can keep the phone running for close to 350 hours under standby mode.
The new Canvas Spark 2 Plus comes in three colour options -- Metallic grey, copper gold, and champagne gold — and will made available on Snapdeal [HERE] from April 22 onwards.
Competition:
Considering the Spark 2 Plus' price and specification, it will be competing with Blu Life Mark, Moto E (2nd gen) and Lenovo K5 Plus, among others.
