Micromax Canvas Lite A92 Listed at Online Stores for ₹8,499

Micromax on Friday (28 June) officially opened the pre-booking window of its next generation Canvas 4 smartphone on its website. The move came straight on the heels of another budget sibling Canvas Lite A92 making its first appearance on an e-commerce site.   

For the past couple of months, speculated features and purported snapshots of Canvas Lite A92 have been flooding the media. Online store Flipkart has listed the Micromax budget phablet with price tag of ₹8,499 on its site before the company could officially launch the device.

Flipkart has revealed that Canvas Lite A92 would sport a 5.0-inch WVGA display with 480x800p resolution and ship with Android v4.1.2 Jelly Bean OS.

Under the hood, it is expected to run on 1GHz dual-core processor with 512 MB RAM and 4GB ROM. A92 Canvas Lite also comes with microSD card slot which allows users to expand storage space up to 32GB. The new phone will be powered by a 2000 mAh Li-Ion battery.

According to reports, the Micromax Canvas Lite A92 is expected to get officially launched in the coming weeks.
