Popular indigenous smartphone maker Micromax has listed a new smartphone dubbed Canvas Elanza 2 A121 on the official website without mentioning its price and availability.
Micromax Canvas Elanza 2, a smartphone which is believed to be the successor to the company's previously launched Canvas A93 Elanza sports 5-inch HD TFT display with a 720x1280 pixel resolution and runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean.
Inside, the handset packs a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 (MSM8212) processor clocked at 1.2GHz. In terms of memory, Micromax's upcoming Elanza smartphone features 1GB of RAM along with 4GB of in-built storage on-board, which is further expandable by upto 32 GB with microSD card. The connectivity features of the handset include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS/ A-GPS, GPRS/ EDGE and 3G and the Canvas Elanza 2 houses 2000 mAh battery, which promises to deliver 240 hours of standby mode and upto 7.5 hours of talk time.
The handset comes loaded with apps such as Bounce Ball Classic, Bubble x slice, Fukrey, Kingsoft, Getit, Opera Mini, M! Live, Reverie phonebook and Smartpad and hosts 8.0-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash.
Although the cost of the handset is yet to be made public, it is expected to fall in the affordable range. The predecessor of Canvas Elanza 2, which made its debut in earlier February this year is priced at ₹8,900. It comes with 5.0-inch qHD screen with 960x540p resolutions, Android v4.2 Jelly Bean OS, 1.3GHz dual-core CPU, 1GB RAM and 4GB inbuilt memory (expandable up to 32GB).
Micromax has also listed an entry level smartphone Bolt A69 on the website without price tag.
