Indigenous smartphone maker Micromax seems to be gearing up for new launches in India as a new smartphone dubbed Canvas Duet AE90 pops up online in the country.
Although the company is yet to announce the smartphone officially in the country, the online retailers like eBay have stated selling the smartphone with a price tag of ₹9,299. Talking of the features of the new handset, it sports 4.5-inch qHD display with a 540 x 960 pixels resolution and is powered by 1.2GHz quad-core processor coupled with 1GB RAM.
As per the listing of the Micromax Canvas Duet AE90 on the e-retailer website, the handset is shipped with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS and packs 4GB of internal storage with expandable option by up to 32GB with microSD card.
On the connectivity front, the handset supports Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n with Hotspot, GPRS, GPS, Micro-USB and 3.5mm audio jack and comes loaded with 1,800 mAh Li-ion battery, which promises upto 5.5 hours of talktime and 150 hours under standby mode. It houses 5.0-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera.
Earlier this week, another Micromax's smartphone Canvas Beat made online debut with a price tag of ₹9,499. It sports 5.0-inch qHD (960 x 540p) IPS display and ships with Android v4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS. Powered by 1.2GHz quad-core CPU (Broadcom) and 1GB RAM, the new handset packs 4GB inbuilt memory and 1,900 mAh battery which claims to give five hours of talk time and 150 hours under standby mode.
Other features of the handset include 8.0-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, a 2.0-megapixel front facing camera and connectivity features like network support, Bluetooth (with A2DP), Wi-Fi, micro-USB v2.0 and GPRS/EDGE.
