Home-bred smartphone-maker Micromax has officially launched the fourth generation Canvas Doodle series phablet in India.
The new Micromax Canvas Doodle 4 sports a mammoth 6.0-inch HD IPS screen with Gorilla Glass 3 shield and run on the Android 5.0 Lollipop OS with 1.3GHz quad-core processor (probably Mediatek), 1GB RAM and 8GB inbuilt memory.
To power the mammoth screen, it will be backed by a high-capacity 3,000mAh battery, which can run the phone for close to 300 hours under standby mode. It also boasts of 8mp camera on the rear-side and a 2mp snapper on the front.

The company has confirmed that the new Micromax Canvas Doodle 4 has been made available at retail stores across India for ₹9,499 in white colour variant.
Competition:
Micromax Canvas Doodle 4 will be up against the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G, Meizu M1 Note, Lenovo A7000 and others.
