Popular indigenous smartphone maker Micromax has released a new budget handset, dubbed Canvas A93 Elanza, via online stores.
The new Micromax new device sports a 5.0-inch qHD screen with 960x540p resolutions. It runs on Android v4.2 Jelly Bean OS powered by 1.3GHz dual-core CPU, aptly backed by 1GB RAM with 4GB inbuilt memory (expandable up to 32GB).
Other stipulated specifications include a 5.0-megapixel primary camera on the rear side, a VGA (0.3-megapixel) front snapper for video chat, 1950 mAh battery, dual-SIM slots, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GPRS connectivity features.
Canvas A93 Elanza has been made available at e-commerce website Snapdeal for ₹9,400. Burgeoning Indian budget phone segment is already flooded with numerous local and MNC brands, and Micromax phone will be up against top devices like Nokia Lumia 525, 520, Samsung Galaxy Duos, Xolo Q800 X-Edition, Q1000 Opus, Karbonn Titanium S5 Plus etc, and might even have to cannibalise the sales of its own sibling Canvas 2 Plus A110Q.
