Indigenous smartphone maker, Micromax is reportedly coming up with a new mid-range phone dubbed as Canvas A200. The brand new handset is likely to hit Indian markets soon.
Micromax dedicated community website, MMX newscaster has revealed a snapshot of the never-released smartphone Canvas A200, along with its key specifications.
In the picture, the handset features curved corners with micro-phone grill at the top and three capacitive touch-sensitive buttons at the base. [To view the new Micromax smartphone, click here]. In terms of hardware, Canvas A200 will sport a 4.7-inch HD (1280x720p) with Corning Gorilla Glass 2 screen shield and pack 1.3GHz quad-core processor, paired with 1GB RAM and 4GB ROM.
The new Micromax phone is also said to boast of an 8.0-megapixel main camera, 5.0-megapixel front-facing camera and an 1800 mAh battery. The website has not revealed which version of Android OS will the Canvas A200 run on, but one can expect the device to ship with either v4.2.2 or v4.3 Jelly Bean.
As of now, there is no word on the Micromax Canvas A200 release date or its price details.
Earlier this month, Micromax in partnership with network MTS released a budget smartphone Canvas Blaze MT500 for ₹11,999. It flaunts 5.0-inch display and runs on the Android v4.1 Jelly Bean OS with 1GHz dual-core processor and 768MB RAM.[For more information, click here]
