Micromax Canvas A105 with Android KitKat OS Listed at Online Store; Price, Specification Details

A new budget smartphone Micromax Canvas A105 has been spotted at an online store in India.

Though the company is yet to officially announce the phone, an e-commerce website Home Shop 18 has listed the Micromax Canvas A105 and has also went ahead to reveal the key specifications and price details of the device.

The new Canvas A105 comes loaded with specifications similar to the recently unveiled Canvas Engage A091 sans the screen size and battery capacity. It houses 5.0-inch WVGA (480x800p) display and ships with the latest Android v4.4.2 KitKat OS powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor.

Other stipulated features include 512MB RAM, 4GB inbuilt storage (expandable up to 32GB), 5.0-megapixel camera on the rear side, 0.3-megapixel front-facing VGA camera for video chatting and 1,900 mAh battery which power the phone for close to 5 hours of talk time and 150 hours under standby mode.

As of now, the Micromax Canvas A105 has been priced ₹6,999 at Home Shop 18, but the sales are yet to commence.

It has to be noted that Micromax A105 is the third Android KitKat based smartphone to get launched in little over a week. The company's newly launched phone includes Canvas Engage and Unite 2. They have been made available in the market for ₹6,199 and ₹6,999 respectively. The budget smartphones launch spree by Micromax seems to be attributed to the threat posed by Moto E, which has received over whelming response in the subcontinent.

Motorola's new phone has raised the bar by incorporating value-added features like qHD screen with Gorilla Glass 3 display shield, water-splash resistant coating and Snapdragon series chipsets and most importantly its pocket friendly sub ₹7,000 price tag is giving rival domestic players a hard run for their money.
