Before Micromax could officially unveil the Canvas 4 Plus, an online store has jumped the gun and begun selling new phone.
The e-commerce site, Infibeam, has listed the Micromax Canvas 4 Plus A315, understood to be the successor of the 2013 flagship Canvas 4 A210 for ₹16,999.
Micromax Canvas 4 Plus is the second new flagship mid-range smartphone to hit stores after the company launched the Canvas Nitro A310 early this month.

The new Canvas 4 Plus sports 5.0-inch HD (1280x720) AMOLED screen and ships with Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS out-of-the-box.
Under the hood, it come packs with MediaTek TRU Octa-core processor, 1GB RAM, 16GB (expandable up to 32GB) and a 2,000mAh battery.
On camera front, it houses a 13.0mp camera with LED flash and 5.0mp snapper on the front.
Competition:
By looking from pricing perspective, the new Micromax Canvas 4 Plus will be up against the recently released Motorola Moto G (Gen 2), Sony Xperia E3, HTC Desire 616, Desire 820 (expected to be released next month) and also the popular Xiaomi Mi3, which is slated to go on sale again next month ahead of the Diwali festival in India. It will also be competing sales space with its own sibling Canvas Nitro.
