Indigenous smartphone maker, Micromax has reportedly released a new budget Android handset dubbed as Bolt AD4500 in India via online store.
As per the listing on the Micromax website, the new Bolt AD4500 sports a 4.5-inch FWVGA screen and comes with the Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS powered by dual-core MediaTek CPU with 512MB RAM and 4GB inbuilt memory. It is backed by a 2000 mAh battery, which can run the phone for up to seven hours of talk time and close to 318 hours under standby mode.
Micromax Bolt AD4500 price and availability:
As of now, the new Micromax can be purchased at eBay India for ₹Rs 5,290. And If Mumbai-based retailer, Mahesh Telecom is to be believed, Bolt AD4500 will be made available at brick-and-mortar stores as well.
Competition:
Going by the specifications list, it is an entry-level phone targeted for first-time smartphone buyers. Other handsets which fall under the same bracket include - Samsung Galaxy Star Pro S7262, Xolo One, Karbonn Smart A11 Star and other domestic brands.
If users are ready out shell out a few more bucks, they can also check out Asus Zenfone 4, Samsung Galaxy Star Advance, Moto E, Redmi 1S, Nokia Lumia 520, Micromax Canvas A1, Spice Dream UNO and Karbonn Sparkle V.
