The home-grown smartphone maker Micromax has released a new budget handset dubbed as Bolt A064 in India via online stores.
The new Micromax Bolt A064 sports 3.5-inch HVGA (480x320p) display and ships with Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS out-of-the-box.
Under the hood, it comes loaded with 1.3GHz MediaTek dual-core processor, backed by 512MB RAM, 4GB inbuilt memory (expandable up to 32GB) and a 1,400 mAh battery, which can run the phone for up to five hours of talk-time and close to 150 hours under standby mode.
On the camera front, it houses 2.0-megapixel camera and a standard 0.3-megapixel VGA snapper on the front for video chatting.
Competition:
Going by the specifications and price tag (around ₹3,300), Micromax Bolt A064 is a "smart" buy for first-time smartphone buyers and is currently available on online stores - Snapdeal and Amazon India.
It will come up against Celkon Campus A35K, Intex Aqua T4 and Karbonn A1 Plus Champ.
