Micromax has been rumoured to launch an Octa -core processor smartphone 'A 350' off late. The phone which was seen on the AnTuTu benchmarking website earlier last week, has been watched closely since then by the tech savvies to discern the specifications and other details of the handset.
Now the folks at the TechMobile Guru have revealed the specifications of the alleged smartphone which is expected to make its debut by mid -January. The local player Micromax is to leave no stones unturned. The company seems to have aggressive plans for the New Year 2014.
According to the report, the rumoured Micromax A350 octa-core smartphone is likely to hit the retail shelves any time from now. Of course, Micromax cannot afford to budge on time as its rival Intex Technologies Ltd already forayed into the Octa-core based smartphone arena.
According to the latest report, the purported smartphone A 350 would come with 5 inch full HD display and would be powered by 1.7 octa core processor. In terms of the memory, the upcoming smartphone from Micromax is likely to pack 2GB of RAM and 16 GB of inbuilt storage which can be further expanded by up to 32 GB using microSD card.
Other stipulated features of the phone include 16 megapixel rear camera, 5 megapixel front-facing camera, 3000 mAh Battery and Customized UI. The A 350 handset is likely to fall in the price range of 20,000.
When launched, the phone will be pitted against Intex Aqua Octa which made Indian debut recently. The Intex smartphone sports 6-inch (720x1280 pixels) HD OGS (One-Glass Solution) IPS display,1.7GHz MediaTek's MT6592 octa-core processor, Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS , 2GB of RAM and 16GB of inbuilt storage.
However, Micromax is yet to confirm the report.
