Taiwanese smartphone maker HTC launched the much-awaited HTC One smartphone in February. The device is expected to make its India debut next month.

Popular Indian smartphone maker Micromax unveiled the flagship phablet A116 Canvas HD last month, it made record sales with the smartphone stocks getting sold out within 15 minutes of its release online.

Both HTC One and A116 Canvas HD pack quad-core processors, but they differ in other aspects such as display resolutions, camera. etc. So let's take a look on both smartphone's specifications:

Display:

HTC One sports a 4.7-inch Super LCD 3 display with an amazing 468 ppi (pixels per inch) pixel density which is one of the industry's highest screen resolution. The Canvas HD sports a less impressive 720p HD display with a pixel density of 294 ppi.

Processor:

Both HTC One and A116 Canvas HD pack quad-core processors. But HTC sports a little faster 1.7GHz speed Snapdragon 600 series chipset, while Micromax's smartphone packs a much slower 1.2GHz MediaTek MT6589 processor.

Camera:

Being an expensive device, HTC One is the industry's first smartphone to boast an Ultra-Pixel camera, it sports a 2.0-ultrapixel rear camera (equivalent to 4.0-megapixel).

The company claims that HTC One's custom build Ultra-Pixel camera with f/2.0 aperture lens and a breakthrough sensor can absorb 300 percent more light than any other smartphone camera sensors.

Despite packing an 8.0-megapixel camera, Micromax's smartphone once gain fails to match its rival.

Mobile Operating System:

In terms of mobile operating system, they both stand even in this department as HTC One and Micromax A116 canvas HD run on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS.

In other aspects such as Graphics Processing Unit, Memory, RAM and network connectivity, both devices have minor negligible difference.
