After weeks of speculations, Indian handset maker Micromax on Tuesday finally launched the much awaited A115 Canvas 3D smartphone for ₹9,999.
A115 Canvas 3D sports a 5.0-inch display with a special stereoscopic 3D software which can convert 2D pictures and videos into 3D format. Using this software, users are not required to wear 3D glasses to view content on the phone.
Micromax's new smartphone runs on Android v4.1 Jelly Bean mobile OS powered by a dual-core processor with 1GHz CPU speed and with memory storage capable of expanding up to 32GB via microSD card.
The company has reportedly confirmed that A115 Canvas 3D will be made available at retail stores across India in the first week of May.
Saholic, a Spice Group owned online shopping portal, has already listed A115 Canvas 3D on its website, but sales are yet to begin.
