The indigenous mobile telephone manufacturer had been in the smartphone market since March 2008. Some of the devices launched by the company were even capable of competing with high end products coming from Amazon, Samsung and Nokia. Other companies like Mercury, Milagrow, Karbonn, iBall, Spice and Wishtel are also seeking to gain a strong foothold in the Android smartphone market by introducing budget-friendly devices.
