Formula One (F1) Racing Champion Michael Schumacher has not died, contradicting to the rumours that have been circulating on social networking sites.

Since past four months, the racing champion has been in a medically induced coma state. In December 2013, Schumacher was skiing with his son in the French Alpine resort of Meribel when he fell and hit the right side of his head on a rock.

In April, Schumacher's manager had said that the seven-time Formula One champion is on the road to recovery. Still, Schumacher again became a victim of death hoax on Twitter.

The hoax news of the athlete's death started circulating after a user named @HenryWyatt posted a tweet, "Rip Michael Schumacher. A legend of the sport."

When asked from where he got the news, HenryWyatt posted pictures of screenshot of news website articles from Metro and CNN which carried Schumacher's death report.

But the alleged articles on his death were nowhere to be found online.

The athlete became a victim of death hoax when he met with the accident last year. Facebook pages titled RIP Michael Schumacher 1969 - 2014' among others were created where Schumacher's fan posted RIP messages.

But much to the disappointment of the hoaxers, Schumacher is alive and recovering fast.

"I can only say again: There are signs that give us encouragement'," his manager Sabine Kehm said, according to Mirror.
