After weeks of teasing, Samsung officially pulled the wraps off the new mid-range smartphone the Galaxy On8 in India on September 27.
The new Galaxy On8 flaunts premium brushed metal cover on the back with high grade alloy-based diamond cut frame on the edges. On the front, it sports a 5.5-inch full HD display (1920x1080p) display with contrast ratio of 100,000:1.
Under the hood, it houses 1.6GHz octa-core processor, 3GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, 13MP camera with LED flash on the back, 5MP snapper on the front with dedicated LED flash and a 3,300mAh battery.
The new Galaxy On8 will be released on October 2 exclusively via Flipkart's Big Billion Days sale for Rs. 15,900. It will be made available in three colours -- black, gold and white.
Competition:
The new Galaxy On8 will be up against the popular Moto G4 series, Xiaomi Redmi Note 3, Lenovo K5 Note, and LeEco Le 2, among others.
