Micromax's Canvas 6 made its debut in mid-April. Now, the device has finally been put up for sale in India. The new Canvas 6 is now exclusively available on Flipkart and the company's official e-commerce site for Rs.13,999 in gold and silver colour options.
Micromax's mid-range phone sports a premium all-metal body and also comes with fingerprint sensor on the back, providing an additional layer of security to protect the data in the phone.
It features 5.5-inch full HD display, Android 5.1 Lollipop OS, 1.8GHz MediaTek octa-core processor, 3GB RAM, 32GB inbuilt storage, 13MP primary camera with LED flash, an 8MP front snapper and a 3000mAh battery, which can keep the phone running for close to 205 hours under standby mode.
Competition:
Micromax Canvas 6 will be pitted against popular Xiaomi Redmi Note 3, Lenovo K4 Note, recently-released Lenovo ZUK Z1 and LeEco Le 1s Eco, among others.
Earlier this week, Micromax launched a new budget smartphone dubbed the Canvas XP. It flaunts a standard 5.0-inch HD screen and comes with MediaTek quad-core processor backed by sumptuous 3GB RAM.
