After weeks of teasing, Lenovo's Motorola Moto Z2 Play finally broke covers on Thursday.
As rumoured, Moto Z2 Play sports an all-metal body with ultra-slim design language with only 5.99 thickness. The phone sports a 5.5-inch full HD IPS screen on the front and comes packed with Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor, 4GB RAM, 64GB storage, 12MP dual autofocus pixel camera with dual-LED flash, 5MP snapper with dedicated single-LED flash support, 3,000mAh battery and Type-C USB port.

Motorola also pulled the wraps off four new generation Moto Mods. Moto Gamepad, which turns the Moto Z series phone in to handheld gaming console, comes with dual control sticks, D-pad, four actions buttons and dedicated 1035mAh cell of its own to extend the phone's battery life, while you play the games.
JBL Sound Boost 2 comes with its battery that allows up to 10 hours of music playtime built. It also boasts of a water-repellant coating. The device comes in red, blue and black, and features a more premium design with fabric and improved contours.The built-in kickstand promises truly immersive audio-visual experience. It can be operated with a smartphone app.
Moto TurboPower pack instantly add an extra day of battery life. Once the charge is drained, user can plug it in and power up to 50% in just 20 minutes, Motorola claimed.
Moto Style Shell comes with Wireless Charging, which adds fast wireless charging (up to 10W).

The company has confirmed that the new Moto Z2 Play will be first made available in Brazil starting today for B$ Real: 1,999 ($615/€548/Rs.39,594) and will be released globally before the end of June. However, it will be rolled out in US next month exclusively via Verizon Wireless.
On the other hand, the newly Moto Mods will be available globally this summer, with Moto TurboPower Pack starting at $79.99 (€71.30/Rs.5,152) , Moto Style Shell with Wireless Charging at $39.99(€36/Rs.2,576), JBL SoundBoost 2 (€71.30/Rs.5,152) at $79.99 and Moto GamePad at $79.99(€71.30/Rs.5,152).
