Yash Raj Films' upcoming movie "Meri Pyaari Bindu" will feature Ayushmann Khurrana along with Parineeti Chopra and the actor has introduced his character in the film through a short video.
The video shows Ayushmann sitting by the corner of a lane in Kolkata with a type-writer in front of him as he narrates a weird story while typing the same. The actor plays the character of a Bengali writer in the film and Parineeti reportedly will be seen as a Tamil girl.
Ayushmann introduces his character in the film in quite an interesting manner and also expresses his love for the character of Bindu, played by Parineeti. Directed by Akshay Roy, "Meri Pyaari Bindu" is a romantic drama that will also mark the singing debut of Parineeti.
Earlier, there were reports that Parineeti had liked the script but did not want to work with Ayushmann in the film. Suprotim Sengupta had reportedly written the script for Soumik Sen and wanted him to direct it and Sujoy Ghosh to produce it. However, the script was later sold to YRF and Parineeti could not refuse the big production house's offer and agreed to work with Ayushmann, according to SpotboyE.
It was also reported that Arjun Kapoor was approached to play the male lead in "Meri Pyaari Bindu" after Parineeti had refused to share screen space with Ayushmaan but the "Ishaqzaade" actor had rejected the offer. Arjun reportedly did not like the idea of playing Bengali boyfriend to a Tamil girl. Check the video that introduces Ayushmann's character in "Meri Pyaari Bindu:"
