A lot is being said about the suicide sequence in "Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi" in which Ranveer (Shakti Arora) and Ishani (Radhika Madan) jump off a bridge to end their lives.
It did not come easily to the actors, who reportedly admitted to having their hearts in their mouths the entire time they were filming for the scene.
Talking to The Times of India, Shakti revealed how frightened he was to stand atop a narrow bridge railing, adding he eventually jumped using a harness.
"We did this scene on a small bridge where the river is almost 60 feet deep. I could see the currents in the river, so if I had fallen, there'd be nobody to save me and I don't know how to swim! For certain scenes, I did not even use a harness," he said.
Shakti also added how it had become risky to mouth never-ending dialogues standing on a platform as narrow as his shoes.
"The strong winds made me feel that I'd lose balance and go straight into the river," he further elaborated.
The actor also took Twitter to inform the same. "Shot d most difficult scene of my life, standing on a bridge top without any safety precautions," he posted.
In a video shared by one of the fans on Twitter, Radhika and Shakti request their fans to watch the show to know about the twist because it would be wrong to predict Ishani and Ranveer's future right away.
