Hit TV show "Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi" is set to tie up all loose ends in Ishani (Radhika Madan) and Ranveer's (Shakti Arora) love story, but that's happening only because it's being taken off air. The actors are emotional and tearing up, but a crew member said it was not fair to not give their team a second chance.
"There are many shows that are stretched forever. It's normal for TRPs to dip once in a while; we were not even given a chance to revive it. Our show definitely had the potential to bounce back — we made some mistakes and the track became a little dull, but ek chance toh banta hi hai," SpotboyE quoted the insider as saying.
While there's no way to confirm this, it would have been great had "MATSH" gotten another shot at improving their content, which had become very monotonous. However, the final episode, which is to be telecast on 19 February, has been shot and everyone's ecstatic about it. Calling it "dramatic", a source told India-Forums Ranveer would be seen trying shoot himself in the head when Ishani would finally talk about what made her push him away.
In other news, Balaji Telefilms' new show "Kasam" will apparently take the slot left empty by "Meri Aashiqui". From what has been reported so far, Divyanka Tripathi's ex-boyfriend Ssharad Malhotra and "Bigg Boss 9" contestant Yuvika Chaudhary have been roped in to play the leads. The story revolves around the Canada-return Bedi family and their son, who is a rich spoilt brat.
