"Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi" is gearing up for a 6-month leap and a lot is happening before the show fast-forwards itself into time.
Ishani (Radhika Madan) has been kidnapped by Rajat (Amit Tandon), and Ranveer (Shakti Arora) is doing everything in his might to save his wife.
Obviously, Ranveer successfully retrieves Ishani after which they hug each other. While Shikhar (Arjun Bijlani) makes way for the lovers, Ishani finally finds some sort acceptance into RV's family.
But the storyline isn't going to be this simple. More trouble awaits the lovebirds post-leap. Ranveer will essay a double role and Rajat will be seen trying to make their life a living hell.
"The daily is all witness a leap before which Ishani (Radhika Madan) will be kidnapped by Rajat (Amit Tandon). Later on after the show takes six months leap, Ranveer will be shown to turn into a devious man, who will later on be revealed to be Ranveer's look alike," an insider informed Tellychakkar.
In other news, Monday's episode saw Shikhar having an at-length discussion with Ritika (Smriti Khanna) about Ishani.
He revealed how he was aware that she had hired goons to get Ishani kidnapped. Later, Shikhar cut a deal with her saying if she confessed her crime he would try and reduce her punishment.
Ritika confessed to her big plans informing about Rajat's history with Ranveer. So, will Ritika and Rajat create fresh trouble in Ishani and Ranveer's life? Only time will tell.
