Now that "Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi" is over, Shakti Arora is dabbling in a few new things. He has landed the host's job in "Mann Mein Hai Visshwas" and will be seen in a cameo in "Krishndasi" alongside "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein" actress Anita Hassanandani.
The track will require him to play a love guru and Anita his subordinate. The idea of the special appearance is to make the show's lead pair Aradhya (Sana Amin Sheikh) and Aryan (Shravan Reddy) realise their love for each other.
"The sequence will provide a comic relief to our audiences as we try to play cupid for the duo. Since I haven't played cupid in anyone's life, I really enjoyed essaying one on screen," Shakti told Tellychakkar. This piece of news comes as a relief for the charming TV actor's fans, who have been waiting to a catch a glimpse of him ever since "MATSH" went off air.
In other news, Shakti is thrilled to be hosting "Mann Mein Hai Visshwas," and strongly believes it was his ability to connect with the youth that got him the job. He told Absolute India News the idea of the show was to build a relationship with young viewers using simple, uncomplicated language.
"The production house must have chosen me to play the host of the show keeping the youth in mind. It is challenging to draw youngsters to such concepts as they mostly believe in universe, energies and the secret. The idea is to make the show resonate with them by using simple and uncomplicated language," the daily quoted him as saying.
