In the latest development in Colors' "Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi", Ishaani (Radhika Madan) is seen unwillingly being present at the pre-wedding ceremonies of Ranveer (Shakti Arora) and Ritika (Smriti Khanna). However, instead of the bride Ritika, mehendi and haldi gets smeared on Ishaani by mistake.

While fans were hoping that their favourite on-screen jodi -- Ranveer and Ishaani -- would finally unite and Ritika's crimes would get exposed before Ranveer just before the wedding, another unexpected twist awaits the viewers in the next episode.

According to reports, in the upcoming episode, Ranveer will tie the knot with Ritika much to Ishaani's disappointment. Not just that, the newlywed couple will go ahead and seek the blessings of the elders in the family. Amba (Utkarsha Naik) will also be seen blessing the couple and asking Ranveer to give the best life to his wife Ritika.

"Ishaani will simply be unable to fight her emotions, when the wily Ritika will ask her to do the gathbandhan for her and Ranveer. With a very heavy heart, Ishaani will carry out the ritual, just as tears would run down her eyes. Ranveer too will be shown in pain, but the man will just not react, but bow down to Ritika in marriage," according to a report in Telly Chakkar.

With this shocking twist, it remains to be seen what the makers have in store for viewers if not Ranveer and Ishaani's re-union.
