Shakti Arora of "Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi" fame enjoys a loyal and young fan-base. The television star believes his ability to connect with the youth has landed him the host's job in "Mann Mein Hai Visshwas."
"The production house must have chosen me to play the host of the show keeping the youth in mind. It is challenging to draw youngsters to such concepts as they mostly believe in universe, energies and the secret. The idea is to make the show resonate with them by using simple and uncomplicated language," he told Absolute India.
Sure he is moving on in his career, but "MATSH" was extremely special for him and the cast members were devastated on hearing the news of the show being taken off air. The suave star, however, understood how things work in the industry and thus embraced the harsh truth with maturity.
"I am obviously emotional now. I don't want it to go off air. But the audience has lost hope that they will get to see Ranveer-Ishaani's romance that was the base of the show. The other tracks were not so happening, as per their opinion. RV and Ishaani have got back (together), but it is a little too late," he told BollywoodLife.
While Shakti is busy prepping for his upcoming show, his co-star from "MATSH", Radhika Madan, is busy walking the ramp. The pretty leading lady along with a host of other TV stars sashayed down the runway for Beti Foundation in Mumbai recently. Shivsakti Sachdev, Anita Hassanandani, Ejaz Khan and Ragini Khanna are some of the names who walked for the cause.
