Meizu's current flagship smartphone, the MX5, which went out of stock on the very first day of sale on 27 August, has been brought back again. The MX5, which is available in India exclusively on Snapdeal for Rs 19,999 offers a wealth of features for its price which explains its popularity.
Users can buy the Meizu MX5 now on Snapdeal through a pre-registration based, flash selling method. Meizu has claimed that over 3,00,000 buyers have already registered on Snapdeal to buy the device.
For its price, the Meizu MX5 offers mCharge, a fast charging ability for charging the device battery, in a short time. The MX5 also comes with mTouch 2.0, a snappy fingerprint sensor on board.
The device comes with an all-metal body processed through a 12-gun 3D sand blasting process that involves a 5 step anodized process.
Powered by a 64-bit octa-core MediaTek Helio X10 processor with a measured clock speed of 2.2GHz, the MX5 comes with a 3GB RAM and is available in three storage variants - 16GB, 32GB and 64GB. All the MX 5 editions come with memory expandability.
The Meizu MX5 also boasts of a 5.5-inch Full HD display with 1080x1920 pixels resolution at a pixel density rate of 401PPI overlaid with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for added protection. On the camera front, the MX5 houses a 20.7MP rear camera with AutoFocus and dual LED flash, and a 5MP snapper in the front.
The MX5 also packs a 3,150 mAh non-removable battery and runs on heavily customised Android powered Flyme 4.5 operating system.
For its price, the Meizu MX5 competes with Xiaomi Mi 4, OnePlus One and Moto X Play.
