Meizu is tight-lipped on its upcoming device, the M3 Note, but several details, including its specifications and pricing, have been leaked over the last few weeks as its release date draws closer. Now, it has emerged that it will be a budget handset, and take on devices like Xiaomi Redmi Note 3, Lenovo Vibe K4 Note, LeEco Le 1s and Moto G Turbo Edition, if released in India.
Meizu M3 Note will be announced April 6 at the Beijing National Convention Centre, according to GizChina. The Chinese smartphone manufacturer is expected to release a few devices, including Meizu M3, Metal 2, MX6 Mini, PRO 6 and PRO 6 Mini, this year.
A report by GizChina has claimed Meizu M3 Note will come with a price tag of ¥1099 (around Rs. 11,200). The company is yet to confirm the pricing of the device, but if one is to go by the reports, it will have to compete with the Xiaomi Redmi Note (Rs. 9,999 for 16GB model and Rs. 11,999 for 32GB variant), the Lenovo Vibe K4 Note (Rs. 11,999), the LeEco Le 1s (Rs. 10,999), the Moto G Turbo Edition (Rs. 12,499), and the Huawei Honor 5X (Rs. 12,999) among others.
MyDriver had earlier reported Meizu M3 Note would be priced at ¥799 (around $125 / Rs. 8,200) for the 16GB variant and ¥999 (around $155 / Rs. 10,250) for the 32GB model.
According to reports surfaced so far, the Meizu M3 will sport a 5.5-inch FullHD display, feature a fingerprint scanner, and powered by a Mediatek Helio P10 processor. It is also expected to come packed with a 16GB/32GB internal memory and 2GB RAM, and house a 3,200mAh battery.
