Meizu is tight-lipped on the release date of its upcoming device dubbed as the Meizu M2 Note but almost every detail of the device has surfaced over the last few weeks. Specifications of the device have been leaked, hinting that its release is not far and it likely to take on the likes of Micromax YU Yuphoria and Xiaomi Redmi 2 in the Indian smartphone market.
The Meizu M2 Note, also known as Meizu M1 Note 2 by some, is the successor of Meizu M1 Note which was launched last year. It is expected to be priced below ₹10,000, so it could give tough competition to devices from Micromax, Lenovo and Xiaomi.
According to a report by TechGadgetsz (via GSMArena), the Meizu M2 Note or M1 Note 2 will come with several feature upgrades over its predecessor, the M1 Note. It claimed that specifications of the device were leaked on GFXBench listing before it was removed, but it has got the details and screenshot of the same.
The website reported citing information leaked on GFXBench listing that Meizu M2 Note will be a dual SIM device sporting a 4.6-inch IPS 5-point multi-touch display with 1920 x 1080 pixels, powered by Octa-Core MediaTek processor clocking at 1.3 GHz and run on Android 5.1 Lollipop with Flyme UI.
The report went on to claim that the device will have a 12 MP main camera with LED Flash, Ultra-HD(4K) Video Recording, and 5 MP front snapper with Full-HD(1080p) Video Recording, and come packed with 32 GB internal memory expandable up to 32 GB and 2 GB RAM.
It is also expected to cone with 4G LTE, 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth v4.0, and USB OTG connectivity, and sensors such as Gravity, Proximity, Light, Accelerometer, gyroscope, and Pedometer.
