Iterating the success of M2 Note and MX5, Meizu, the Chinese smartphone maker, has launched M2 in India. The budget smartphone will be available for Rs. 6,999 and can be purchased through pre-registered flash sale method via Snapdeal. The registration for the device will start from 10:00 am today and will end on 9 October.
For designing the unibody casing of M2, Meizu has used polycarbonate material along with a magnesium frame namely mBack to offer a decent one-hand usability experience. Meizu claims M2 is slimmer than its competitors. Furthermore, the M2 is available in a vibrant color range including white, blue, grey and pink.
Meizu M2 boasts a 5-inch screen with the 720 x 1280 pixels resolution with a GFF full lamination technology over the display for minimising the reflection and improving the display quality.
Running on heavily customised version of Android 5.1 Lollipop overlaid with Flyme OS 4.5, Meizu M2 comes powered with a 64-bit 64-bit MT6735 Quad-core processor. The processor features four advanced 1.3 GHz Cortex A53 cores and the Mali-T720 GPU.
Meizu M2 also comes equipped with a Samsung 13 megapixel CMOS camera along with zero-delay shooting technology for capturing decent photographs. The device also features an upgraded version of FotoNation beatifying system in its 5 megapixel front camera.
On the connectivity side, Meizu M2 supports both TD-LTE and FDD-LTE 4G, two Nano-SIM cards and a microSD cards with a storage capacity of 144 GB.
Additionally with 46 customer service centres across 33 cities in India, Meizu is well postured to provide strong after sales services to its customers.
